Legionella ELITE
The Legionella module is intended for laboratories that identify Legionella from environmental water samples.
Laboratories that isolate and identify Legionella using traditional culture methods may use the samples to obtain CDC ELITE Certification. Facilities that have successful performance on 2 panels per year are eligible for this certification.
The panels can also be used to meet quality assurance and proficiency testing needs for laboratories using rapid screening methods and/or molecular methods. WSLH is an AIHA-approved PT provider.

*2024 Legionella Event 3: Ships – 09/16/2024 • Due – 10/25/2024
*If your lab needs additional PT events to be eligible for a CDC ELITE certificate, you will automatically be enrolled in Event 3 and your account will be billed for the cost of an additional event. Late enrollments that miss Event 1 will be enrolled in Events 2 and 3.
